Photographer's comments:

"Since I started doing macro photography, every time I go to the garden, I bring my equipment with me to take some macro shots.
Having a lawn and different plants I like to look for insects and other things to shoot.
In this case, a small jumping spider made itself noticed and I immediately positioned myself with a couple of additional lights trying not to scare it too much.
It was already dark and so the camera flash with a homemade diffuser helped me to have a scene lit as I wanted it. The Tokina AT-X M100 PRO D f2.8 MACRO which is my favorite lens for macro photography, mounted on my old Nikon D5300 did the rest!
I don't like tripods and I shoot almost exclusively freehand and single shot.."
